White-back vulture (Gyps Africanus) distribution modeling in Kruger National Park

The white-backed vulture (Gyps africanus) is critically endangered, facing rapid population declines due to anthropogenic threats like poisoning, drowning, and collisions with energy infrastructure. To aid conservation efforts, this case study focuses on modeling the distribution of the white-backed vulture in Kruger National Park, South Africa. We aim to highlight environmental variable that guide G. africanus distribution and demonstrate how to use nimo R package to achieve this analysis.
